Sol da Capital is the fully ripened fruit of a long-time collaboration between award-nominated Canadian producer-singer-songwriter Rachel Beausoleil, and Brazilian guitarist-composer Evandro Gracelli; two musicians who have not let distance get in the way of creativity and quality. Their songs tackle complex social themes, always emphasizing a message of hope.

The Ontario Arts Council has leant its support to this project, and three selections were featured in Encore Ottawa 2021, by the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition and the Shenkman Arts Centre.
